DAVIS NAMED ECAC AND GNAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Emmanuel's sophomore guard Iman Davis (Toms River, NJ) capped off an incredible week by receiving two prestigious conference honors. Davis was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's basketball Player of the Week, as well as the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC) Player of the Week for the New England region. Davis led the Saints to a 2-0 week, averaging 22.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She recorded a double-double in Emmanuel's 73-65 win over Rivier, netting 23 points, grabbing 11 boards, and tallying 6 steals. Davis also hit for 21 points, pulled down 4 rebounds, and notched 3 steals in the Saints' 79-46 win over Norwich. She shot 17 for 33 (51.5%) from the floor and 10 for 12 (83.3%) from the free throw line for the week. Davis has received GNAC Player of the Week honors four times already this season.
