The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) held its first-ever men's volleyball tournament on Saturday afternoon. Rivier College hosted the inaugural tournament at the Muldoon Health & Fitness Center Nashua, NH. The top-seeded Raiders defeated the Emmanuel Saints to capture the 2008 GNAC Championship. read more

The Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball Team defeated Colleges of the Fenway (COF) rival Wentworth Institute of Technology, 3-0, in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association match on Thursday night. The Saints cruised to three straight wins, defeating the Leopards, 30-20, 30-22, and 30-24. The careers of the three seniors on the Emmanuel squad (Brendan Ellis, Sophanna Lout, and Russell Brodmerkle) were celebrated prior to the start of the match. read more

The Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball Team squared off with the visiting Nighthawks of Newbury College on Tuesday night. Newbury entered the match ranked 1st in NECVA-New England and 11th in the nation. The Nighthawks (27-8) cruised to a 3-0 win over the host Saints (12-14). Newbury came out strong, winning game one, 30-19. Emmanuel fought back in the second set, keeping it close throughout, but Newbury came away with a 31-29 win. The Nighthawks went on to prevail in game three by a score of 30-22. read more
