The Emmanuel Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Teams wrapped up the regular season on Saturday by competing in MIT's Co-Ed Invitational. Senior captains Matt Hickey (North Attleboro, MA), Rob Allen (Plymouth, MA) and Ryan Bringhurst (Walpole, MA) led the men's team with their strong performances. Hickey broke his own school record in the 800-meters with a time of 2:04.17. Allen placed 2nd in the 400-meters and was followed by senior Mike Thurnauer (Reading, MA), who placed 5th. Bringhurst broke his personal record in both the 55-meters and 200-meters. read more

The Emmanuel College Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Teams traveled to Northampton, MA on Saturday (2/10) to compete in the Smith College Tartan Invitational. Several Emmanuel athletes placed in their individual events or as members of various relay teams. Freshman Alex Lucier (Northbridge, MA) placed 7th in the high jump with a school record performance (5'8.75") and he also lowered his personal best in the 55-meters (7.24). Lucier joined senior Mike Thurnauer (Reading, MA), sophomore Rob Littleton (Plymouth, MA), and sophomore Kevin Ly (Portland, ME) in breaking the program record in the 4 X 200 meter relay. read more
